気温路線図 / Temperature Map

「平年の○月並みの気温」をわかりやすくグラフで表現できないかと考えていたら、気温が1月から上昇して8月に折り返し、12月に戻ってくる形が環状線っぽくなったので、思い切って路線図風にしてみた作品。月の上旬・中旬・下旬を「駅」、気温を路線の位置として、最低気温（青）と最高気温（オレンジ）の2路線で表現している。東京・札幌・大阪・那覇の4都市分を制作。気象庁の平年値（旬ごとの値）から作成。構造としてはハイサーグラフに近いが、要素を気温だけに絞ることでより直感的に読める形を目指した。
While exploring ways to visualize "average temperatures by month" in a clear graph, I noticed that the pattern — rising from January, peaking in August, then falling back to December — resembled a loop line. So I decided to style it as a transit map. Each "station" represents a ten-day period (early, mid, and late) of each month, and the position on the vertical axis represents the temperature. Two "lines" — minimum temperature (blue) and maximum temperature (orange) — run in parallel. Created for four Japanese cities: Tokyo, Sapporo, Osaka, and Naha. Data sourced from the Japan Meteorological Agency's climate normals (ten-day averages). The structure is similar to a hythergraph, but by stripping away precipitation and focusing solely on temperature, the aim was to create a more intuitive reading experience.
