北海道積雪マップ / Snow Depth of Hokkaido

#30DayMapChallenge（Day.4: Hexagon）に参加して制作した作品。六角形といえば雪の結晶——ということで、北海道の年最深積雪データを六角形メッシュで表現し、積雪量に応じて3Dで立ち上げた。データは国土数値情報の平年値メッシュデータを使用。
Created for the #30DayMapChallenge (Day 4: Hexagon). Since hexagons evoke snowflakes, I visualized Hokkaido's annual maximum snow depth using hexagonal meshes, extruded in 3D according to the depth of snow. Data sourced from Japan's National Land Numerical Information (climate normal mesh data).
